Welcome to Doncaster Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Service
Every year in the UK, hundreds of thousands of people experience some form of rape or sexual abuse.
At Doncaster Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Service (DRASACS) our aim is to help people in the Doncaster Area who have suffered from these experiences.
Our confidential services are available for:
- Children and young people aged 18 or under, who have been raped or sexually abused
- Adults who have experienced rape or sexual abuse, either recently or in their past
- Family members who have been affected by the issue
To ensure we have robust safeguarding reporting procedures, we cannot regularly support people from outside of the jurisdiction of Doncaster Safeguarding Adults Board or Doncaster Safegurarding Childrens Board. If you live outside of this area, local support can be found by clicking here.
If you want to talk to someone about your experience, please get in touch. We provide a number of free
services including:
- Counselling
- Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA)
Fundraising
Fundraising and donations are a vital source of income for DRASACS. We really do appreciate every contribution, no matter how large or small. If you can help us by donating or raising funds on behalf of DRASACS, we would very much value your support. You can find out more in the Support Us section.
