We’re looking for compassionate individuals who supports DRASACS values and are committed to helping us achieve our goals. Based in Doncaster, this role provides a unique opportunity to make a real impact to the lives of people who have suffered sexual violence or abuse, and to be part of our truly incredible team of dedicated staff and volunteers. One of our key strengths, is that we want to empower people to recover, heal and rebuild their lives. We firmly believe that all people should be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of race, ethnicity, class, age, disability, or sexual orientation. We encourage people from all walks of life, no matter their experiences or background, to speak their truth. As a charity we aim to continue nurturing a culture that fosters respect, and values difference, to provide equal and inclusive access to all our services. Anyone can be affected by sexual violence or abuse, at any time in their lives; we want to ensure everyone is aware of, and has access to, the vital help that we provide. We therefore want our team to reflect these values, and advocate for equality and inclusivity, a factor that is deeply embedded in our recruitment process. We live in an increasingly diverse landscape and welcome applicants from all communities in the Doncaster area, particularly multi-ethnic identities, LGBTQ+, and those with disabilities/impairments, so that the DRASACS team can reflect all the voices of our fantastic community and help us to reach often marginalised groups. Please help us share this vacancy far and wide to enable us to reach as many people as we can, either via social media or, or if you know someone who could be a good fit, pass this link onto them.
